Qualified with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Audiology in 2012, Donna has worked in both public and commercial sectors, including working as a clinical audiologist for the NHS. She has a diverse range of experience and is specially trained in endoscopic and micro-suction ear wax removal. Her thorough approach to work and her empathy with her patients makes Donna incredibly popular at Walsh Opticians

Our Audiologist at Walsh Opticians
After graduating with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Audiology in 2012, Donna now has several years’ experience working in both public and commercial sectors of Audiology. She first worked as a clinical audiologist in the NHS for over 5 years across a range of fields, including adult aural assessment and rehabilitation, tinnitus management and ENT. Following her time in the NHS, her next role was as a trainer for a major hearing aid manufacturer where she was responsible for developing and delivering product and software training to private and NHS customers. Donna is also trained in endoscopic and micro-suction ear wax removal. Donna prides herself on her thorough approach to her work while at the same time having a strong sense of empathy and understanding toward her patients.
Health & Personal
Originally hailing from Scotland, Donna moved to Dorset in 2013. She is a keen violinist, having played since the age of 9, playing both classical and traditional Scottish fiddle music. In her spare time, Donna also enjoys keeping fit, music, catching up with family and friends, travel, reading and painting.
